Focus is on growing as an engineer, learning the team’s tools and processes, developing skills, and learning the best-practices of engineering with the goal of becoming proficient in all these areas through practical experience. DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES - [SW] Modifies and maintains existing code
- [SW] Produces production-ready code to defined specifications with assistance and review from more senior engineers
- [HW] Implements hardware solutions to defined specifications
- Learns and contributes to the testing framework
- Debugs own code
- Assists with triage and remediation
- Understands functional requirements, use-case scenarios and design goals of their assigned tasks
- Learns and adheres to established software development workflow, tools and systems
- May give input on feature design for their part of a module
- Documents work according to defined processes
- Learns how to collaborates with peer groups and other teams across Nintendo
- Up to 10% travel; domestic and international
SUMMARY OF REQUIREMENTS - 0-2 years related work experience
- Basic understanding of fundamental engineering concepts and programming languages
- Basic understanding of development tools and processes
- Solid understanding of C, C++ or C# (or equivalent)
- BS or MS in engineering or equivalent
- Valid passport may be required
